What is the Cost?

The cost depends upon the number of items that require a valuation. We charge as little as £50, but this can increase to £150 if it is a sizeable collection. The price also depends on how detailed the probate valuation needs to be. For example, the cost will be lower to produce a document with an overall value, compared to a document that details each item individually.

How Do We Value Items?

There are two ways we can conduct a probate valuation:

Visit our shop in Durham

We can arrange an appointment for you to bring the items that require a valuation to us. We will conduct the valuation there and then (Depending on the number of items involved), and produce a letter headed document for probate.

In-store

Send us a list

Sometimes we don’t need to see the items in order to provide a valuation, and happy to work from a provided list.
